Dudley Canal & Tunnel Trust

We run regular guided boat trips through the historic tunnels and limestone caverns underneath Castle Hill in Dudley.

Millions of years ago deposits of limestone and coal were laid down in what is now the West Midlands. Fast forward to the 18th Century and the advent of the Industrial Revolution these rich mineral resources, transported by a new canal network, helped to put the Black Country at the centre of the manufacturing world.

45 Minute boat trip prices: Adults £7.25 Senior £6.60 Child £6.00 Family (4) £23.50 Family (5) £28.30 No booking required for 45 minute trips. Group discounts, 2 hour and 6 hour trips are also available.
