And So To Guildhall

Serjeant Gibson and I got ourselves to Guildhall on Sunday to see the arrival of the Post Chaise and the the two Eagles. They arrived on time and in sporting fashion at speed. They were escorted by some smart Hussars from the Light Cavalry, although one of their horses took exception to something in the entrance to Guildhall Yard. In due course the announcements of Wellington’s victory by Major Percy and Captain (RN) White was made in grand style to a Senior Alderman and very soon the the lovely post chaise was on its way again. All very slick.
