Waterloo 200 Descendants Book

Waterloo 200 and the Online Book Company are working together on an exciting joint project, the Waterloo Descendants E-book, featuring the stories of the soldiers who fought at the Battle of Waterloo, 201 years on.

Descendants and researchers can record and preserve their ancestors’ lives and upload photographs of any Waterloo artefacts they own. You can read some of their stories below.

We have also uploaded the complete Waterloo Medal Roll, giving details of every British Army soldier who fought on 18 June 1815. For the first time ever, all the heroes of Waterloo have a place to commemorate their struggle and sacrifice.
