Discover Bodmin Keep: Cornwall’s Army Museum

A place where families remember and discover together

Housed in the magnificent Victorian army barracks of Bodmin Keep, Cornwall’s Army Museum provides a fascinating insight into 300 years of international conflict and military history.

Displays cover Waterloo, World War 1 and World War 2, right up to more recent conflicts in Northern Ireland and Iraq. It has one of the best weaponry and medal collections on display in the country, as well as a huge chunk of the Berlin wall!
With something for the whole family, young and old, the exhibitions captivate and inspire, truly connecting visitors with the stories from our past.

So, bring the family – play the bugle, dress up in military uniform, handle historic weaponry, explore a WW1 trench, listen to fascinating talks & object handling sessions or get creative in our craft room!

You can even bring the family dog!
