Royal Scots Dragoon Guards Museum
The Museum represents the history of The Royal Scots Dragoon Guards (Carabiniers and Greys). Housed inside the 1790’s built New Barracks within Edinburgh Castle, the museum tells the story of the three regiments dating back 340 years and that together formed the SCOTS DG. The antecedent regiments of the SCOTS DG are the 3rd Dragoon Guards (Prince of Wales’s Own), the 6th Dragoon Guards (The Carabiniers), the 3rd Carabiniers (Prince of Wales’s Dragoon Guards), The Royal Scots Greys (2nd Dragoons), and the 25th Dragoons.
