Rijksmuseum
The Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam, Holland is dedicated to arts and history. It has a collection of approximately one million objects that represent arts, crafts and history between 1200 and 2000.
The unique position Rijksmuseum gained in the world throughout the centuries, comes not only from the possession of many masterpiece paintings of Dutch and world art. Alongside master works like Rembrandt’s “Night watch”, several paintings by Vermeer, van Dyck and Jan Steen, the museum also has a truly exceptional collection of antique objects relating to Dutch culture, along with a vast collection of prints, drawings and classic photography.
