10 Acre Napoleonic Fortress on the banks of the Humber Estuary dating back to 1542 when the first fort was built in the reign of Henry V111. Containing Underground rooms and tunnels and a large events arena.Exhibits have a strong local content and the site also contains bar and cafe,tea rooms, assault courses, art gallery and gift shop as well as the new exhibit of the world’s only Blackburn beverley aircraft, and the berliner railcar.
