March’s edition of our regular talks series uncovers the marvels of a genre of objects rarely exhibited at the Williamson.

Glass From The Past’ will be a talk that explores the antique glass in the museum’s collection. Examples collected by the museum over the years include fine examples of 19th century drinking glasses.

Local artist Susan Brown will be exploring the history and different methods of glass production. You will have the chance to find out about some exquisite pieces of glass from the Williamson collections, many of which have not been exhibited in the galleries for over twenty years.

The talk starts at 7pm, and the cafe and bar will be open from 6pm for refreshments.
